• Name and email address when you create an account
• Profile information including your role (host, vendor, or guest)
• Event details you create or RSVP to
• Vendor profile information including business name, category, photos, and pricing
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe — we never store your card details
• Photos and videos uploaded to event storyboards
• Location data when you use the Go Live feature (with your permission)
• Messages sent through our booking inbox
• Ratings and reviews you leave for other users
• Device and browser information for analytics

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To connect hosts with vendors and facilitate bookings
• To process payments through Stripe
• To send booking confirmations, notifications, and platform updates
• To display your vendor profile to potential clients
• To show live vendor locations on the map when you enable Go Live
• To improve our platform through usage analytics
• To respond to support requests

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With other users: Your vendor profile, event listings, and public storyboard content are visible to other BPL users
• With Stripe: Payment information is shared with Stripe to process transactions securely
• With Resend: Your email address is used to deliver platform notifications
• With Mapbox: Location data is used to display maps and geocode addresses
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect the safety of our users

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which is built on PostgreSQL and hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. While we take security seriously, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Update or correct your information through your account settings
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Request a copy of your data
